Our Fair Water Bills service includes access to a portal where owners can monitor usage, manage their account and pay for their measured water usage. Owners’ share of common water is accounted for via strata levies and access charges with concessions are invoiced by the water provider.
Owners receive an SMS notification when their sub-meter detects a leak within their property, helping reduce the risk of property damage and encouraging timely maintenance.
Once the meter readings have been taken, we then issue individual bills to all owners as per the actual consumption. Bills are sent via email or by post. Landlords may have their bill copied to their agent or tenant.
Fair Water Bills have a dedicated bank account for each Body Corporate for receipt of owners’ payments. At the end of each billing cycle, all recoveries are returned to the Body Corporate. Portal Access and Site Reports including payment status provide complete visibility and control.
Any owners with an unpaid or overdue balance will be subject to our arrears process, which includes issuing overdue notices and referring debts to external agencies for further action in order to recover all funds for the Body Corporate.

When it is unfeasible (due to cost or complexity) to install or upgrade meters for direct billing, water provider policies allow for alternate billing arrangements to facilitate equitable billing.
If not already billed in bulk, the Body Corporate will enter an arrangement to receive an account for total charges payable for water supplied to scheme land. This allows the Body Corporate to engage an external company to provide meter reading and billing services. We can coordinate a site feasibility to determine your sub-metering options
